Meet the new members and please welcome them!

Krista Kolegraff is one of seven kids, born and raised on a ranch in Iowa.  She studied Hospitality Management at Iowa State University.  She is the Founder and Creative Director of Buy Art Not Followers, an organization dedicated to encouraging people to buy art from emerging artists.  She also runs Quarantee, an afternoon-tea distributor which she devised while on lockdown in Iowa, in a bid to cheer her parents by making English teas for them.

Her interests include Art, History, Literature, Opera, Food Science, Genealogy, Gardening, Film, Entertaining, Travel, Tennis and Ballet, and she has recently joined the Ebell Archive Committee and RCA.

Why Krista Joined The Ebell: “I came across an article from the Los Angeles Evening Citizen, 1950 when I was researching the history of the historic home I am staying in. The article shared details of the former home owner having the Ebell Junior members over for afternoon tea. There was also a listing for the same event in the Los Angeles Times, September 5th, 1950. Ironically, it was almost exactly 71 years to the date! I found the article on September 3rd, two days after I moved in. I figured it was meant to be. I fell in love with the club right away for its history in educating women and its powerful impact in Los Angeles through generations.
