Wine & Dine with a Twist | January 23

Let’s get together socially for a new Zoom experience we’ve dubbed The Paella Project.
Because we have been missing each other’s company so very much, we’ve cooked up a delicious new idea. We will cook together, toast each other and learn some new culinary tips and tricks from a pro, then feast amongst friends with meals brought to you by Good Boy Bob of Santa Monica.
Part cooking class, part party, you’ll meet Chef Ben Baron and wine director Natalie Friedman who will walk you through the final steps needed to prepare your three-course feast.
Menu includes Avocado and Citrus Salad, Seafood Paella, and German Stone Fruit Cake. The individually packaged foods, all locally sourced, will be delivered to your door the day of the event, along with wine chosen for the occasion.
At 6:00 p.m. we sign on to Ebell’s ZOOM platform and put the finishing touches on our meals following Chef Ben’s step-by-step instructions. We will talk with Natalie about her wine selection. Then we’ll serve ourselves and continue our dinner party with good friends and good conversation. Audney DePaolo, husband of Ebell member Paulette DePaolo and second-level sommelier, will be our evening’s engaging emcee. Set your table, dress for dinner and get ready to party!
Our virtual Ebell programs are free, but donations are greatly appreciated and help the organization during these unprecedented times.
