Wellness for Women: Yoga Class

We’re excited to offer you FREE online yoga class every Tuesday and Thursday.  Each day offers two different courses. Starting Tuesday, April 14th

When:  Tuesday and Thursday

Time:
10:00 am to 11:00 am – Pre-Lunch Stretch (You will need 2 pillows, a blanket and a towel or strap)
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Restorative Wind-down (You will need 2 pillows and blanket) Click here for 10am class

Miranda Ratner

Born in Los Angeles, Miranda is a life-long passionate Yogi and artist, she has been practicing Yoga since she was 3 years old, and has grown up exploring many different forms of fitness modalities. Miranda has two 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certifications, and passionately continues to deepen her Mind and Body studies and practices each day. As a Yoga and Wellness teacher, Miranda aspires to make more accessible the abundance that Yoga and Fitness have to offer, she focuses on embracing one’s practice as a vehicle for expanding consciousness and bettering our lives. Miranda hopes to inspire curiosity, self-reflection, and mind-body awareness through the practice of Yoga. Miranda believes that the foundation of health and wellness is to take care of our own personal ecosystems: our bodies.

Class Descriptions:

Yoga Stretch:

Yoga Stretch is a gentle low impact class that consists of deep stretching and relaxation, designed around traditional Hatha Yoga poses.

Restorative Wind-down:

Restorative Yoga uses many props such as pillows and blankets to assist in full body poses that require deep relaxation and stillness. We hold poses for 3-8 minutes, giving the body the space and time to fully integrate the physical benefits of the pose. The magic happens when the muscles and tissues are fully relaxed.
