A ZOOM Cocktail Tour of the Historic “Jack Doyle Residence” by current owner and Ebell member Suz Landay
Suz will lead a virtual tour of her gracious Mediterranean Revival home, a designated Los Angeles City Monument. The 101-year-old home has a beautiful garden that was twice featured on the Windsor Square-Hancock Park Historical Society Garden tour. She will also tell us about the home’s scintillating past that includes a shocking murder and a colorful original owner, Jack Doyle, who once built a boxing ring with the world’s longest bar.
Join us with a cocktail in hand. We suggest the classic Negroni recipe below, also born 101 years ago.
Negroni Cocktail
1 oz. Gin
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
Stir with ice and strain into ice-filled rocks glass.
Garnish with orange twist.
