Ebell member Susan Van Allen has been designing and leading women-only tours to Italy for nine years. We may not be able to travel to the land of pasta, vino, and history right now, but the author of the best-selling 100 Places in Italy Every Woman Should Go will lead us on a ZOOM tour to show us the many glorious ways Italy appeals to women — from temples where goddesses were worshipped to women-owned wineries–and more!

We’ll also ZOOM live with an extraordinary Venetian bead artisan who works wonders with Murano glass and visit a home kitchen in Rome for a live cooking demonstration of one of the Eternal City’s beloved specialties–Artichokes alla Romana.

And there is a Bonus! Participants will be entered in a drawing for a free copy of Susan’s book.

Grab a glass of vino or an Aperol Spritz (recipe below), and prepare for a visually sumptuous tour!

Aperol Spritz Recipe

3 ounces Prosecco
2 ounces Aperol
Splash of Club Soda
Orange slice or 2 large green olives

Fill a large wine goblet with ice. Pour in the prosecco, then the Aperol, then club soda. Stir and garnish with an orange slice or olives on a toothpick.
