Dobbs brings incredible stories and unique perspectives on the life of journalists in global hotspots

Get your questions ready. Maybe they’re about the current plight of Afghan women… or what we can be doing to help in this state of bad affairs. Dobbs will join us on ZOOM to share his expertise on what’s happening now based on his decades long career covering countless international crises for two television networks, mostly ABC News. From Afghanistan to South Africa, Iran to Egypt, Soviet Union to Saudi Arabia, Vietnam to Venezuela, Libya to Liberia, Panama to Poland.

Dobbs has also covered presidencies at home and the America Space Program, all of which he details in his book about the life of a foreign correspondent, Life in the Wrong Lane. Dobbs has won three Emmy Awards and the Society of Professional Journalists’ Distinguished Service Award. He currently writes columns on politics and foreign affairs.
