A fresh take on one of LA’s most treasured spaces from the originator of the popular Modern Hiker blog and author of Discovering Griffith Park: A Local’s Guide
With its 4,300 acres filled with incredible views, complex history, scenic trails and a host of cultural landmarks, Griffith Park is, in Casey’s viewpoint, one of the “best dang parks in the country.” That’s just the beginning of his entertaining perspectives. We’ll hear lively highlights of the 119-year-old park’s history and get plenty of motivation for our own explorations. With the rainy season upon us, Casey says this is the absolute best time for a walk in the park. Temperatures are cooler, skies are clear, and the native plants start to awaken from their annual slumber. Join us on Zoom for this fun evening program, then get hiking!
