On December 13, 2019, the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles announced the winning conceptual approach for re-imagining La Brea Tar Pits and Museum in Hancock Park – the only active urban ice age fossil site in the world.
Join Dr. Lori Bettiston-Varga, President and Director of the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County, for an inside look at the future of this exciting master planning project in our neighborhood and an update on the new NHM Commons project in Exposition Park, as well as plans for exhibitions and programs to celebrate their Year of Women in Science and Culture in 2020.
