LGBTQAI+ And What It All Means | May 26

photos of LGBT youthJoin leaders from Camp Brave Trails who will talk about identity, advocacy and education with the next generation of the LGBT+ community.

What does each letter in the acronym stand for? How are gender and sex different? How can you be an ally to the queer community? These are some of the questions the amazing Brave Trails Camp staff and some of campers themselves will address in our special forum. They’ll educate us on the issues, identities, and other topics we all wonder about in an environment where we can freely ask and get frank answers.

The panelists will tell us about the heartwarming experiences of their inspiring summer camps in California and Maryland and how they have created opportunities to teach youthful LBGT+ campers the leadership skills they’ll bring back to their everyday lives. Camp Brave Trails fosters a true sense of community, offering fun, adventure, learning and celebration of identity amidst a safe, non-judgmental space and a beautiful natural setting. Let’s show them some love as we learn!
