Bûche de Noël: a Holiday Dessert with a French accent. Denise Parga shows us how.
Translated, a Bûche de Noël is a Yule Log, a joyous, bells-are-ringing holiday extravaganza that looks like the territory of professional bakers. Denise promises it is not as difficult to create as it might seem. With daughter Chloe as sous chef, the two will take us step-by-step through this traditional French Christmas cake recipe that Denise has perfected with rosewater, bourbon and raspberry confiture—in an homage to her French heritage. We will join them in their home kitchen as they bake and decorate this December treat.
