Ebell Write Club goes virtual | November 17
Tuesday, November 17, 2020 — 6:30 pm
Since COVID-19 has forced the closure of the Ebell, as it has done for all events and non-essential
businesses in California and beyond, the Write Club is just one of the many activities that cannot meet. In the past, if the Ebell wasn’t available to us for any reason – most often a film location rental – we have moved off-site and have met in someone’s home. This time, however, is different. We know we can’t risk close contact in this pandemic, but we were loath to give up our precious time sharing our
stories and our lives. So we decided to go virtual. At our usual time, we meet over ZOOM Video
Conferencing, glasses of wine in hand, and read our stories to each other, discuss our various poems and prose, and vow to keep meeting from our bedrooms, our kitchen tables, and our home offices until the world is clear for gathering again.
For more information about joining the Write Club on our writing journey – virtual or otherwise –
contact email@example.com. It’s free!
Our virtual Ebell programs are free, but donations are greatly appreciated and help the organization during these unprecedented times.
6:30 pm – Open to Ebell Members Only | Reservations are appreciated but not required.

See you on ZOOM!
