Monday Lunch: The Ebell Chorale in Concert
The Power of Women’s Voices
In celebration of the Ebell’s 125th anniversary and inspired by its motto, “Empowering Women since 1894,” the Chorale will present its spring concert, The Power of Women’s Voices. The concert features music by female composers, poets, and performers whose work highlights women’s accomplishments as artists. We’ll also perform selections that focus on the important role women play in highlighting the struggles we have had to deal with in the past, and may still in the future. The music encompasses a wide range of history from 12th-century abbess Hildegard von Bingen to protest singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell and beyond. Join us after the concert for lunch and conversation.
