Women Can Do Series: Auto Maintenance 101
In this hands-on basic auto care clinic, ASE Certified mechanic Sarah Lyon will introduce the fundamentals of the combustion engine and how the systems of a car work together. Ebell members will look under the hood and talk about checking vital fluids, changing an air filter, and what’s needed for an oil change. We will even practice changing a tire!
The three-hour clinic will begin inside the Ebell with a presentation on tools, manuals, maintenance schedules, and how to find a good mechanic, then we’ll gather around our cars parked in the west lot for the hands-on activities.
