Member Laura Louden has been collecting books for Disabled Veterans and taking them to the VA Medical Center Library in West Los Angeles. All are invited to add to her collection.
Donors are asked to drop books off at The Ebell (at the Lucerne entrance) and she will pick them up and distribute them.
Fiction and non-fiction are equally desirable – sci-fi, history, mystery are favorites, apparently – but please only donate paperbacks, as these are easier to hold for our disabled veterans.
