image001August 16 we will discuss Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig, dating to 1974.  No, it is not  Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Universe or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (but equally as  entertaining).  It’s subtitle is An Inquiry into Values.  Think, “Phaedrus, Chautauquas, The Good” . . . and ultimately, “rationality in harmony with romanticism”.  Join us.

image002September 20 we will discuss The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney:  endangered nest-eggs (trust funds), hoped-for bail-outs ($$$), sibling gripes (drunk, debtor, quitter) and yet . . . humor. (“Humor?”  Yes, “humor”!) Join us.
